First attempt
I'm in awe of all the real photographers out there, but I am submitting my humble smartphone photo for this week's challenge. These are Canada geese taking off out of a hay field. They spend the winters here in huge numbers but don't stick around for photo ops because a lot of people shoot them with guns instead of cameras. I do not.
Here's a seagull in Seaside, Oregon.
One of the nice things I like about the photography type tags, subject matter is easy sort of to figure out, and you can add what you like to the picture, how the day was, a little story or how it made you feel, or why you chose to share, or just a simple little message or none at all, by letting the picture speak for itself. Me I get wordy sometimes. I love watching when all the geese spook for whatever reason and take off, a fun thing to watch, you got a nice shot of them.
I love that first photo! That's a lot of geese! I saw a large V formation go overhead yesterday but nothing close to this number. Voted & resteemed
I see this almost every day during the winter. I think they like it down here in the swamp lands. This photo was taken at the property where my goats are parked.
Wow that is a lot of geese. We see 20 or 30 on a soccer field here and think its a big flock lol
We have thousands! They can make quite a mess though.
I don't understand why people would want to shoot them. Glad you used your camera 😃. Nice photos.
It's a pretty good first shot! Especially from a smartphone! Steem is a great place to share our little first steps! I have seen some others learn so much during their time as others come to give advice!
Fantastic....!!!!!!

I love seeing the sky full of geese and hearing all of their shouting to each other! Great captures!
