They are quite lovely, aren't they? Are these birds pets?
The dovecote, of course, has a master and the pigeons belong to him.
In the last century, such street dovecotes were very popular in the USSR. There were many enthusiasts collecting various breeds of pigeons.
But now there are very few of them left.
There is a small variety in this dovecote and, it seems to me, there are already all mixed up, not purebred pigeons
