Fear of the unknown

The unknown for some can be a challenge or an opportunity to prove oneself, while for others it presents a huge threat.
Some people sincerely enjoy what the unknown presents them, the experiences and emotions that go with it all, some thrive for the thrill, while for others it draws out their deepest fears and weaknesses.

Fear of the unknown tends to show itself in common situations such as meeting new people and sometimes not too obviously or visible to others the fears can affect a persons decisions in any situations that present something unknown.
Very few people are so in touch with their inner feeling to the point where they have no insecurities. In fact I’ve never met one single person who is so secure about everything that when faced with the reality of some situations they don’t react in a manner that would otherwise be unexpected.

The fact remains that many people are unable to accept anything different, any form of change. Many people when given an opportunity to make profits, to make money in a manner that is uncommon or unknown to them. Many people when pushed into a situation feel an inner imbalance.

The above is my best description of what could explain the reactions some people have to the idea of making money via business opportunities that are “unorthodox” or lets tone it down to “non traditional”.

On a positive note, there is the good old rule of thumb in the sales business which I learned from a part time job I tried as a young lad, with door to door sales.... and it goes like this “every no is a step closer to a yes”.
Well I guess the same goes with presenting new ideas to people.

I can gladly say that not only my better half, but my eldest son are now on board here, so I guess there is some sort of harmony in our household. More importantly this entire post has nothing to do with any of my family members.

Even when we are not certain about something, we don’t get scared and run, or even worse, put up walls between us.

Just some of my thoughts after a few nice little conversations with people who i honestly thought were people who enjoyed a good old challenge in life!

How do I summarize the term “business”? Well here it is:

No risk, no profit, no pain, no gain, that is the name of the game!
