Prophets in the bible: Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Isaiah 41:10
The second book of Isaiah is a book dedicated to the liberation of the people of Israel from oppression, Cyrus, the King of the Persians, defeats the Babylonian empire and he is an envoy of providence to fulfill a design, the return of the chosen people to his land.
Inside the book there is a poem dedicated to trust in the Lord:
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.", Isaiah 41:10
Those who live dominated by fear cannot please the Lord or serve him, because fear and greed are motivations according to the flesh, according to sin: "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.", Deuteronomy 6:5.
True love, adult love, the gift of love is the opposite of fear; fear and hatred are complementary emotions, what is hated is feared and vice versa; let us remember that the relationship with God cannot be based on a selfish desire to possess what is loved, but on friendship with the object of love (love is a gender, we love what we desire): "There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18.
Moses' law is not enough to worship God: "But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you", 1 Samuel 12:24.
Those who trust in the Lord do not see their hope disappointed: "For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.", Isaiah 41:13.
Finally, according to the ancients prophets of the bible, King Cyrus, as an instrument of providence, is an anointed of the Lord and an instrument for the conversion, the change of heart of Israel: "I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.", Isaiah 44:22.
