If you can't change others, then change yourself.

A little boy guarded the oak barrel at his father's winery.
Every morning, he wiped the buckets with a rag and arranged them neatly.
What made him angry was that the wind blew his neatly arranged buckets askew overnight.
The boy cried aggrieved. The father stroked the boy's head and said, "son, don't be sad, we can find a way to conquer the wind."
A short story of wisdom [if you can't change others, then change yourself]
So the little boy dried his tears and sat by the bucket thinking. After thinking for a long time, he finally came up with an idea. He went to the well to pick up buckets of water and poured them into the empty oak barrels. Then he went home to sleep nervously.
At dawn the next day, the little boy hurriedly got up. He ran to the place where the buckets were placed and saw that the buckets were neatly disposed one by one, and none of them were blown down by the wind, nor one of them was blown askew.
The little boy smiled happily and said to his father, "if you want the barrel not to be blown down by the wind, you must increase the weight of the barrel itself."
The boy's father smiled approvingly.
Perception:
We can't control many things in the world, but we can change ourselves, our abilities and our thinking. Improving one's self-ability is the only way for a person not to be knocked down.
