Hello, hello, hello....

I hope everybody's doing fine! I have taken part in just ONE 7-Day challenge, the 7-Day Wayback Music Challenge orchestrated by @dimitrisp, and I can truly say that I fully enjoyed the experience. 

I actually enjoyed it so much, that I kept thinking for the past few days if I could come up with a fancy idea for a challenge as well. And I think I did....

Due to the fact that music has been the theme of many, many challenges (from what I've seen at least) I thought of excluding it. Same goes for food and traveling; they are already wildly popular on Steemit. 

So, don't expect to see favourite bands, music genres, foods, traveling destinations, countries blah blah in this challenge. Instead, I picked other awesome things that you may want to write about. 

Here Are Your Choices 

You can pick any of the following "themes" each day and explain to us in a few words why it is your favourite. 

Decade: It can be one you already lived and experienced, or one that you've read about or seen in photos/movies and you would have loved to be there and live your "dream."

Game: It can be a video game, a board game, a mind game, a sport, a hobby, you name it. 

Website: Which one and why.

Movie Character: Make no mistake; it has to be a movie character not the actor/actress who portrays him/her. 

TV Series: All time favourite that would be and you can pick ONLY one. 

Public Figure: It can be a celebrity, an actor, a singer, a politician, a historical figure, someone that has influenced you deeply and you admire. Just don't say your mom. It has to be someone "famous" or of global interest. 

Monument: Maybe you visited it or you want to visit it. Or you've read tons of stories about it. One way or another, just name one ;)

The Rules

- Choose one of the themes each day and explain us why it's your favourite.
- Post a picture of it. It can include you if you like ;)
- Do this for 7 days in a row if you accept the challenge.
- Nominate up to three people each day.
- Tag it with #favouritethisandthat and include the themes that one can pick from.

My Favourite Website

I start with my favourite website today even though you can start with whichever theme you prefer. I am between two; to be more specific, I am between the two "Holy Bibles" for every geek out there, gizmodo.com and arstechnica.com. 

To make it more personal, I have to mention here that my work has been featured in both titans (click here for my Gizmodo article and click here for my Ars Technica article).

However, I will go with Ars Technica simply because they paid me SO WELL that in reality they bought me my vacations in New York he he. Nah!!!! Seriously, I pick Ars Technica simply because these guys are the VERY BEST when it comes to science, tech and gaming culture.

I have never seen SO MANY academics and scientists working for one website. Hell, some of them are professors in Harvard, Stanford, Princeton (the editor of my article for example) and Penn among many other prestigious Universities and work for the website regularly. 

Plus their Facebook Page has one of the best background photos ever!!!!

Last but not least, since this is the launch of my challenge I will nominate some of my favourite  steemians ;)
