PB no jelly

This was no easy task. There are a plethora of genres out there with plenty of great TV series to boot. Including, but not limited to, the following — off the top of my head:

Game of Thrones. The Sopranos. Breaking Bad. Curb Your Enthusiasm. Deadwood. Rick and Morty. Masters of None. Shameless. Narcos. That 70s Show. Sons of Anarchy. Dexter. Vikings. Mad Men.

Just to name a few.

Peaky Blinders

Taking place in post-WWI England this show is about a family gang, running organized crime in Birmingham. I love me a good gangster flick and the British ones are pretty good too. The only bad thing about this show is the fact that the episodes are short (which in reality is a good thing) and that there are only a limited number of relatively short seasons! It’s a great (Netflix original) series that I’d recommend for all to watch. It’s action packed and full of twists. There’re several cameos from some pretty big name and good actors. There’s even the cliche (yet well scripted) romance for all the ladies out there.

So there you have it. While people will argue why shows like the Sopranos or Game of Thrones should take top spot, there are little nuances in most of those series that led me to choose the Blinders. Things like the story dragging, silly plot twists, bad endings, stupid characters. While there are times that you might notice similar things in the show I chose, it’s never too much.
