So I have delved into science obviously and come up with three little hacks that you can try at your leisure when you instantly want to seem sexier.

WEAR SEXY CLOTHING WITH SEXY FABRIC

If you want to be a little sneaky choose an outfit that is made from fabric that is traditionally associated with sexiness. Psychology says that because of lingerie, there are certain fabrics and colors that the brain just automatically assumes are sexy. Fabrics like lace, leather, silk or fishnet, and colors like red which is said to indicate heat and passion and black, which has been called the color of romance and sophistication. So whether you want to seem sexy for yourself, your partner, or your crush, combining a sexy color with one or two sexy fabrics can actually go a really long way.

Now I am personally a huge fan of subtlety, so I don’t think you need to go way over the top and wear a red fishnet dress or anything like that I think like you need to feel confident and comfortable and going way over the top might actually diminish your confidence by making you feel uncomfortable. I think the best thing is to integrate these colors and fabrics into an outfit that you already wear. Trying pairing a cute black leather jacket with a nice lace top underneath or for extra va va voom, try a black lace dress. Or instantly amp your sex appeal by wearing a silk dressing robe when you are getting ready in the morning or evening. These little outfit subtleties are super small and easy to do, but they can instantly boost your confidence and your sex appeal.

DIM ROOM FOR A DEEP ROMANCE

Well science says that soft, dim lighting can actually help set the tone for romance, but it can also make the people in that lighting seem more attractive. Now not only are soft, dim lights more flattering for us and our makeup, let’s be real, but they also play on the brain’s connection between dark settings equalling evening, and evening is sexy time. The mind is not dumb. It knows that scandalous encounters are a lot more likely to happen at night than in broad daylight. So IF you are in a situation where you want to seem or feel sexy, whether it is a party you are throwing or a date with your bae, all you have to do is dim the lights. Try letting a scented candle, stating the fireplace, using lamps instead of overhead lighting or using the dimmers that you can buy at your local hardware store.

Traditionally, a girl is seen as cute with chipper high string, bouncy with a high pitched voice and fast movements. Ladies, there is nothing wrong with being labelled as cute, but that does not mean that once in a while we cannot show off our sexy side to draw someone’s attraction in.

Historically, sexy people tend to have strong, more deliberate movements, soft, low, or raspy voices and they take their time to speak as if every word out of their mouth is important, special, or a secret. So when you want to seem sexy, just take a breath and focus on your speech and movement. To me this one is so much more about understanding that you do have power in conversations and when you feel that confidence in yourself, you are a lot less likely to kind of rush through every single word you want to get out in a conversation. You really feel like you don’t have to prove yourself to anyone and that my friends is the sexiest thing of all.
