💎 My prom journey 💎
I am not a fashion designer, or even someone artistic. I just like clothes, I like to be unique and I like to wear special outfits that make me feel amazing.
Afterall the most important thing about clothes is the way they make you feel. I wanted something special, something that will represent me and still be fit for the ocasion. It was my university graduation.
The first step was to choose a seamstress. I advised with her on what I wanted and what kind of material I wanted. It is called taffeta, it is not very common and it took me 2 weeks until I found the right color and print.
I explained to her exactly how I want everything with a lot of picturs and examples for every little detail. I went to a bunch of fitting. I wanted it to be perfect.
To make this dress it needed 9 liniar meeters of material(around 15 square meeters). It was big and heavy. But I was so proud of what it turned out to be.
Of course an outfit is not complete without accesories, hair and make up. So for another 3 weeks I went to every jewlery in town to find the perfect necklace, after that the shoes, the earings and so on. The problem was the purse. I could not find a purse that I would like so when I gave up on seraching 1 week before the event i went back to the seamstress and asked her to make me cover for an old purse of mine from the same material as the purse and put some more details on it.
For makeup and hair I wanted something that will stand out but not look fake or exagerate. Only those 2 took forever. It was a long and tiering process but at the end of the day it was all worth it.

I received a lot of positive feedback and compliments on my look and I had the best time of my life. We partied until 9 in the next morning and we would still go.
