Great info!! I know sunflower seeds are great for livestock. I wonder how you eat the 'flower'... maybe the petals? Or do you think they eat the entire back portion, behind the seeds?
You can prepare infusion or tea with the sunflower petals, it helps to treat gastrointestinal colic. It is also allowed to use it externally as an analgesic and an anti-inflammatory agent.
