HOW TO DEVELOP HOME FUNGICIDES TO ELIMINATE THE FUNGI IN THE PLANTS OF OUR GARDEN

Hello friend of the farms in this opportunity I am going to talk about tips to prevent fungi in plants and also the instructions to learn to prepare and apply some of the home fungicides.
Fungi are one of the main problems of the garden that we may have to face if we grow a garden at home or, in general, any type of garden or interior plant. To avoid the damage that fungi can cause to our harvest.
If you want a garden or an organic garden, you should avoid using synthetic chemicals or fungicides to eliminate fungi typical of the orchard, such as oidiu, mildew, rust, and substitute natural fungicides.
The chemical fungicides are effective in the fight against the fungi of the garden, yes, but they are also very polluting and harmful for the soil, for the beneficial microorganisms that live in it and, if we consume the products, also for our health.
Most of these remedies are organic home fungicides you can prepare yourself, such as extracts and teas with plants or the milk fungicide. Other remedies that we will see today, such as Bordeaux broth, copper or sulfur, are also fungicides of natural origin.
I also recommend that you see the plants that you can plant in the garden and that will help you control pests. Important to keep in mind, insect repellents should be used after falling the flower.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE OPTIONS THAT WE HAVE TO FINISH THE FUNGI OF THE PLANTS OF OUR GARDEN:

SOURCE

PURÍN OR DECOCCIÓN DE COLA DE HORSE
Equisetum Arvense or Horsetail is one of the most common plants to prepare natural remedies against pests and diseases of the garden.
The horsetail slurry is used to treat and prevent diseases caused by fungi but also helps to eliminate pests from the garden as common as slugs and snails, aphids or spider mites.

SOURCE

FUNGICIDE CASERO MADE WITH MILK
This is a very effective fungicide against the most common fungi of the orchard, such as mildew, botryas, rust ... etc., due to the salts, beneficial for the plants, and the lactic acid that has a fungicidal effect. To obtain 1 liter of this home fungicide you have to mix about 700 ml of water with 300 ml of skimmed milk (optional: 10 grams of sodium bicarbonate). Spray throughout the plant, both in the beam and on the underside of the leaves.

SOURCE

PURÍN DE ORTIGA
There are plant extracts, known as biostimulants, increasingly used in Ecological Agriculture to prevent the onset of diseases. These natural antifungals increase the defenses of plants, which grow stronger and resistant to fungi and other diseases.
Seaweed extract, nettle slurry or citrus seed extracts are some examples of biostimulants that can be done at home. Also the compost tea is a homemade biostimulant that will make the plants grow stronger and protected from fungi and other problems. Nettle tea. Well, the nettle may not be so annoying when it becomes a great ally for your crops. Put on a pair of thick gloves and pick up a little stinging nettle (500 gr). Put it in a bucket and cover it with 5 liters of water, let it rest for at least a week and you will have your new 100% organic liquid fertilizer

SOURCE

ONION INSECTICIDE SPRAY.
Mix 2 onions with water in the blender. You can put the mixture in a jar of water and let it sit overnight. Strain it and be ready to apply on your plants. To treat the plagues of red spider, whitefly and aphid.

SOURCE

EXTRACT OF SALVIA
Thanks to its power to reduce humidity and the high presence of polyphenols it is useful as a fungicide against many of the fungi in the garden. Add 500 grams of fresh sage in 5 liters of water and leave to ferment at room temperature (stirring once in a while) for 5 days. After straining the mixture, dilute the extract to 10-20% with water (100-200 ml of extract for each liter of water) and spray on the plants.

SOURCE

GARLIC HOME OF GARLIC AND ONION
Garlic and onion have powerful bactericidal and fungicidal properties, so preparations made with these plants will help prevent and cure diseases caused by fungi and bacteria. In addition, these homemade fungicides can be used as natural insecticides against pests as common as aphids or the red spider.
To prepare the "garlic and onion homemade spray" you need five or six cloves of crushed garlic and half a large onion (or a medium onion) in pieces. Add a liter of water and let stand for 24 hours. Then boil for 20 minutes over low heat and strain the decoction. Spray diluted with water.

SOURCE

BORDELÉS BROTH AND OTHER COPPER SALTS
They are polyvalent fungicides against powdery mildew and other fungi such as anthracnose, mildew, rusts ...
One of the best-known copper salts is Bordeaux broth, a homemade fungicide that is prepared with hydrated lime and copper sulfate, but with which one must take some precautions for its possible toxicity (it can not be applied in full sun, it is incompatible with some treatments and you have to respect safety deadlines with the application of other treatments, among other things).
In Organic Farming its application is recommended only on a timely basis and, due to its toxicity and because it is a heavy metal that accumulates in the soil, the application of copper is limited to 6 kg per hectare per year.

SOURCE

SODIUM BICARBONATE INSECTICIDE SPRAY
It is an effective fungicide to prevent the appearance of fungi and to eliminate them if they have already appeared, provided they are not in a very advanced state. It is effective against mildew, powdery mildew, anthracnose and blight. Dissolve 2 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate in 1 liter of water thoroughly and spray the preparation daily in the affected areas and leaves.

SOURCE

GARLIC INSECTICIDE SPRAY.
Garlic is a powerful natural insect repellent, able to deter and drive away many insects from our garden. To prepare our insecticide, grind a garlic head with some cloves (spice) in the blender, together with two glasses of water to obtain a well-homogeneous compound. Let stand one day and then mix in 3 liters of water. The obtained mixture can be vaporized directly in the leaves of the plants. The infusion of garlic is also quite effective to combat the aphid
As always in a matter of home remedies, the ideal is to apply it when snails or slugs become a pest, if we have few snails and the damage is not very serious, my recommendation is to do nothing.

SOURCE

GINGER TEA TO COMBAT THE TUATO OR TOMATO MOTH.
This moth ravages our Solanaceae especially in the tomato, with the ginger tea we are going to fight this plague that bores us the fruits. In addition, ginger is very easy to grow at home.

SOURCE

MACERATE TOBACCO.
The nicotine present in tobacco leaves can be a great insect repellent. To prepare the macerate of tobacco put 3 or 4 cigarettes in half a liter of water. Let it marinate for two days and then filter or pass the liquid through a fine sieve. Put in a vaporizer and your natural insecticide is ready.

SOURCE

ELIMINATE BAD HERBS WITH NEWSPAPERS.
Here is a trick to eliminate weeds in your urban garden or plot of land without using herbicides or toxic chemicals, which will not damage our land. With some newspapers, a little work, no maintenance, we will get a higher quality soil without weeds.

SOURCE

ORANGE CITRUS OIL.
Mix three tablespoons of organic liquid soap with 30 ml of orange oil and add four liters of water. Spray the plants, you can apply it directly to ants and cockroaches.

SOURCE

WOODEN ASHES.
Wood ash is rich in potassium and phosphorus. Preparing a homemade fertilizer rich in phosphorus is very simple, we just have to collect the ash from the burned wood and dilute it in water.

SOURCE

PEPPER INSECTICIDE.
Pepper is a natural repellent against pests. To prepare the spray, beat in a blender at high speed for 2 minutes, 6 to 10 chilies (any type) with two cups of water. Leave the mixture overnight. The next day, filter and add a glass of water. Pour the liquid into the sprayer.
I hope you found this post useful on natural fungicides and anti-fungi. My recommendation against a fungal attack on the plants of the orchard is to alternate at least two treatments with home fungicides and leave the inorganic products with copper or sulfur only for emergencies, always respecting the precautions and the safety deadlines. I also recommend that insect repellents should be used after dropping the flower.

Gud article with home made preparation for fungicides. Usage of onions and garlic in preparing played a major role as they contain sulphur which eliminates the fungus and also usage of peeper in natural form . Using natural form of fungicides is best and gud and comes under organic farming .gud information we go ahead and start this method in our farms and try to bring awareness about organic farming in our area.thanks for the post
