FARMS: FUNCTIONs/ IMPORTANCE OF AGRICULTURE

HI every one, hope your night was fine. As the ongoing topics is on #farms, we should be able to know the functioins of what we have been on for the past few months @farms.
Today i will be talking about the function of agriculture.

Like i have said in my previous write up about Agriculture.
Agriculture is the cultivation of crops and the rearing of animals for mans use.
Agriculture ranging from subsistence framing and commercial farming.
Subsistence farming is one man business. That is, it consist of the farmer and the family. They uses simple farm tools. Like hoes, cutlass, shade, rake, shovels and lots more. While commercial farming consist of many persons working in the farm. There farm produces are sold to the general public. They make use of mechanise farming, that is the use of machines like tractor, harvester digger and lots more.

IMPORTANCES OF AGRICULTURE
Agriculture is of great importance to the world today. Agriculturre have been existing right from the day of creation. Agriculture is of great importance to the countries in

1.PROVISION OF FOOD TO THE SOCIETY.
: Agriculture is a source of food to the community. How is this possible is that the food sold are gotten from agriculture. Examples are rice, beans plantain and lots more. There so many food derived from agriculture. So are cash crops and non cash crops. Crops in agericulture are classified to perish and non perish crops. Perish crops are crops that can get spoit and non perish cxrops are crops that can take a long period of time to spoil.

2.PROVISION OF INCOME.
Agriculture is a good source of income to farmer. Farm produces that is harvested in the farm can be sold for money. Examples like cash crops i.e cocoa, banana, pawpaw and lots more. The money gotten can be used to do something else in the family. Like paynent of school fees, house rents and developments of onces self. You see how agriculture canbring about income to farmer.

3.PROVISION OF EMPLOYMENT.
Wow, this is another great importance of agriculture to the community. Today Job is so difficult to get after living the higher institution. But with agriculture,, Job have been made possible to both youth and elders in the community. Agriculture provides jobs by using them to work in the farm land i.e plantting of crops. This method is done or practice by commercial farmers.

4.PROVISION OF SHELTER
Agricultural products can be use as shelter to humans. Agriculture has made it possible to create shelter for humans and animals. Like the products gotten from tree (wood) can be used to build house and huts to secure humans and animals from natural disasters. It can be used as doors and window in the house for protection.

1. FOR NUTRIENTS.
   Agricultural food crops and animals produces nutrients for plants and human and animals. Agriculture fruits like pawpaw, pineapple, mangoes apples and lots more providenutrients needed for growth and development of the body.
   This is where i will be stopping for now. Hope these few listed point of mine was able to show you and explain more about the impact of agriculture to the society.
