Farms: farms beetle
Hey every one, how was your nighf? Hope it was fine. Good to know,. I just want to say a wonderdul morning to you all. I am so happy we have the previledge to write again in this wonderdful platform on beetle as an insect pest in agriculture.
What is beetle?
Beetle is an insect pest that affect the growth of yams and other crops produce. Weather is in the ground or after harvest.
Beetles are a group of insects that form the order Coleoptera, in the superorder Endopterygota. Their front pair of wings is hardened into wing-cases, elytra, distinguishing them from most other insects.
Beetles are bugs most of them can fly. Beetles are farm insects that feed on the leafs and plants in the farm. Beetles have different colors and they are hard. Beetles can eat both the physical and also the produce inside the ground.
They are destructive in nature.
Although pest insects attract the most attention, many insects are beneficial to the environment and to humans.
Beetles are the most common type of insect. Beetles are everywhere. But beetles can be confused with other kinds of insects, especially some true bugs.
Beetle can only be dound where the environment is exposed to diet and not properly taken good care off.
The only way we can control this insect is that we should always monitor our plants qnd also used beetle insecticide to spray the plants to either kill or drive away pest from the farm.
Beetle is not adviceable to be dound in your farm, because it can destroy your plants produces.liw income will be gotten at the end of the day.
BENEFITS OF BEETLES
Beetles are useful to mankind in several ways
- Breaking down waste matters.
- Feeding on dead or decaying animals.
- Feeding on leaf litter
- Aerating the ecosystem
- Reducing weeds and feeding on crop pests.
