Poleo or mint.
Poleo or mint, is a medicinal plant, easy to grow, with many properties, as it contains potassium and phosphorus that favor the body, its aroma is strong (mint smell), has now become very important, as in some places of Venezuela, this infusion is being used as a drink to replace the traditional coffee at wakes, for the economic and the ease of finding.
In addition, the benefits it brings to health, is used as a cold drink accompanied with a few drops of lemon, for its content of mint, offers benefits to eliminate secretions in the lungs, is perfect to relieve stomach discomfort as colic caused by the gases, for problems of the liver, vesicle and also as relaxing. It can be grown in the gardens without much complication.
To prepare the tea, it is recommended to heat the water, when it enters boiling, add the poleo or mint, previously washed, for three minutes, so that it does not lose its properties, let it rest, you can sweeten it if it is your taste with honey or sugar.
