Hello, Dear Steemians. On this occasion, the work related to the life cycle of the plants as a contribution to the community of @farms.

Plants: life cycle

source

We refer to the life cycle of the plants to a series of processes that come into play at the time of the consolidation of a plant. This process goes from fertilization to the stage of complete maturation of our plant, that is, adulthood.

This process can vary depending on the type of plant, for example in algae, its life cycle begins with the germination of the zygote, then follows the development of the plant and culminates, so to speak, with the formation of another zigote. On the other hand, for the ferns, their process begins with the germination of the spores, formation of gametophytes, development of the gametes that leads to fertilization and later to the formation of the gamete. On the other hand, in some higher plants, the life cycle begins with the germination of the seed, the development of the plants, flowering, fecundation and formation of the seed.
The process of complete maturation of a plant can be annual (corn, tomato, for example). Biennial (beet) or more than three years, these are specifically called perennials (lemon, saman).

Processes that affect the life cycle of a plant

All plants have to go through processes that allow them to develop efficiently. These processes will allow you to adapt to environmental factors that could affect it, such as excessive temperatures, lack of water and food.

These activities are called vegetative activity and reproductive activity. In the first, it is related to the absorption and formation of food, assimilation, respiration and perspiration. While the second corresponds to the formation of gametes, fertilization, formation of spores or seeds. If we realize, vegetative activities are related to the development and preservation of plants and reproductive activities with the continuity of the species.

These activities are supported by other aspects related to internal and external stimuli that guarantee the development of the plants: tropism and tactism, processes that will be treated in another publication.

In order for a plant to fulfill its life cycle it is necessary that its roots penetrate the soil, its stem and leaves have the right light for proper growth. Likewise, knowing about the processes that intervene in the development of a plant will allow us to get closer to the world of agriculture.
