My Mum turkey Farm [Small but growing]
Hello steemians welcome to another wonderful day. Today i would be sharing with you how to train turkey birds on your home.
Turkey are another kind of poultry birds just like chicken, they can be easily rear and trained on our home, the meat are very rich in protein and it has sweet taste and i personally prefer it more than chicken taste.
Below are pictures of the turkey birds found in my home, the cage use to house this birds are locally made and it has the ability to house up to 20 fully grown turkey.
The same Method of feeding apply to all poultry birds although some require different kind of feeds, ensure adequate water supply and clean the cage two to three times per week.
Homestead should be encourage at all level because i believe steem can feed the world with one small farm at a time.
