Wow, thanks @bitgeek. Not sure how automated this account is... but if the human behind it checks the comments frequently, I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. Being new to Steemit I didn't expect my first fiction post to take off so well. I'm really honored to have the first part of this story be recognized; I hope the subsequent parts bring just as much entertainment to those who read it.
I'm enjoying the original content I find here on Steemit and look forward to contributing my own throughout the future! Also, plenty of great crypto-info to find here as well. Lots of really helpful, knowledgeable folks (looking at you @lukestokes ). I've been learning a lot.
