Retention of a child for social services - Part 1

This story may be as sensitive to many as it is to me, because no parent can be denied care for their child, much less a child can refuse to live and develop in an environment of love and affection on the part of his father who has the desire to fight to give him a home perhaps not full of luxuries but of love.

The story of my friend Marlon is a story that I follow closely and support. Since my friend, really needs support. Marlon had a relationship that the last months became TOXIC his former partner was 3 years younger than him, fruit of the relationship was a beautiful son for which Marlon faces a tireless struggle with the court, since the mother of the baby and ex My friend's friend Marlon decided to cut ties with Marlon by forbidding him and denying him to share and even approach the child, because when he tried to talk to her and see the baby she hid the child and ran to my friend.

As a result of this, out of ignorance, despair and doubts, my friend Marlon goes to social services so that they can give him support and so be able to be with his little son of only 13 months. Social Services opens an investigation in the case where they claim that the mother is not in a position to have the guardianship of the child since she does not have a job or a house of her own to give to the child, my friend was also not in a position to have the custody of the baby since it presents some debts a few months ago. But Marlon has a job, and has never refused to provide financial and emotional support to his son, on the contrary since he unfortunately began the terrorist social service and his son was sent to a CPS shelter he has fought in court for his custody.

The court noted as difuncional family, and it is true, and this relationship is not to be united, but why deny this father who is struggling and just wants to give a home to his son and affection? They have thought at some point of the suffering, and the consequences that this child is framing this whole process.

My friend in a few days has trial again with the court, it is a strong battle, Marlon is desperate, and social services do not even allow him to visit.

My criticism is that CPS continues to create suffering in these families and especially in innocent children who only need the affection and attention of their parents.

We hope to see light at the end of this tunnel, and that freedom is the protagonist in the case of this father who fights for the well-being of his little one.
