Non-discriminatory and just education is realized to be very useful in the realization of equality of interaction relations between men and women. But in reality, women are still experiencing discrimination, especially in the field of education. There are a number of factors that influence the occurrence of such injustices, namely structural and cultural factors. In addition, to develop policies that are less gender sensitive, there are also cultural practices that are gender biased. In the face of such conditions, there is a need for concrete efforts in promoting women towards a more gender equitable education. Wider access to education is a key to improving women's empowerment in order to participate in decision-making in all areas of life in the community.

Preliminary

Everyone, both men, and women are basically born together. Therefore, they should have equal access to everything, including education, decision-making, health, and other essential services. Education is a human right. However, currently, there are still many parties who have not considered that obtaining an education is a basic right, especially for women. Often girls become violated rights. Though education is the path to liberation from poverty. With still the existence of differences and differentiation of treatment on women, then women will be difficult to escape from the shackles of poverty. ADB (Asian Development Bank) reports that two-thirds of the poor in the Asia Pacific, the majority are women. Without great access to education, women, especially poor women, have fewer opportunities for women to increase their participation in society.

Education is an important tool for achieving development, equality, and peace. Non-discriminatory education will be useful for both women and men, especially to balance the relationship between the second Journal of Fantasia 2008. Economic and social empowerment for women can give them a voice in achieving the goal of reducing poverty. In order to become an agent of change, women should have fair access to educational opportunities. Literacy for women is key to improving health, nutrition, and education, and for empowering women to participate fully in community decision-making. Education is also the key to improving the status of women.

Development of equal and gender equitable human resources is still far from the fire. Although the government already has policies to eradicate illiteracy, there are still many uneducated children, youth, and adults. In South Asian countries, it is estimated that only 94 girls are in elementary school compared to 100 boys. In the world, among the 100 children who were forced out of primary school, 85% were women (Female Journal No.50, 2006: 10). In the absence of certain political will and action, literacy rates and life skills (lifeskill) will remain low. It certainly has a significant contribution to the birth of helplessness and poverty among women.

Conclusion

The future of a nation depends on education. Education is also a very important tool for achieving equality of relationships between men and women. There are still many development policies that are gender biased and seem to ignore the role of women. In society, there are still many cultural values and practices that hinder justice and gender equality. In the face of such a situation, it should be realized that conceptually education is open to the transformation of new liberating and just values, not vice versa. The challenge ahead is to rebuild education as part of the cultural force. In order to ensure the fulfillment of human rights and the implementation of CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Woman), political will and action are needed to ensure that in the future, women can move forward and feel the same treatment with other citizens ), because in fact women are also human beings who have Human Rights.

@wildarahmi worthy subject! I have seen this happen on much of Latin America, where it is still ok to expect a woman to only get married. Education is for boys....when women are the #1 breadwinners in the world! I really think everything would change if all girls had quality education. Loved reading this.

Thank you sister, justice must be upheld, happy to meet you.

Happy to meet you too!
