My life as a Juvenile Detention Officer...A series of True Stories of Abuse of Children (Introduction)
ADVOCATING FOR (true) JUVENILE JUSTICE in support of #familyprotection!!
This is the first of a series of articles relating my experiences in working with abused youth as a Juvenile Detention Office of 10 years and an adviser to youth and young adults during my 3 years at Job Corp. Names and locations will be changed to protect the innocent survivors of abuse. Unfortunately, too many of them are no longer around but I am certain their loving spirits will be with me every step of the way as their story needs to be told.
I must warn you, all of these stories are heartbreaking and are extremely hard for me to write, but with the help of my Higher Power..it will be written! I will be writing the first article tonight...starting with my first day as a Juvenile Detention Officer and witnessing the abuse of a female inmate by another detention officer.
It is my goal to become a full-time writer/ambassador for #familyprotection to create a worldwide awareness of how "the system" has failed these youth.

Yes I feel very strongly that people need to hear from in insider all too familiar with the "system" and good and bad of "the system" when children become "wards of the state.". They remain under state control even if they are released back to the parents. I am very high profile, so I have to be careful in relating these stories.. so trying to determine the best approach. I appreciate the support and opportunity to be a part if this project. Hopefully we can "make a difference" in millions of children's lives!!
Welcome aboard. You sound like someone who can expose a lot of abuse and hopefully get across to people, how bad this all really is. Wish you well.
I know a lot has improved in the Juvenile Justice system in at the county level where I worked but not so much in other areas across the US.
Something like this will always attract abusers as it's an obvious source of Children. If it was up to me, I would brand them all with a 'x', right on their foreheads and then everyone would know and they wouldn't be able to apply for these kind of jobs. The whole Child welfare system is a necessary evil that we should be very well maintained but we are ruled by Pedophiles who won't convict their own kind. Horrible situation and it's the root that needs removing.
Unfortunately a lot of these kids parents are the abusers and when they get placed in foster homes, they are abused with them. That is why a lot of them end up in gangs and the prison system.
I am glad you have brought this point up. As much as we blame the system and rightfully so, we must also look at the parents who create the need for this industry in the first place. I have considered writing about this, but it would be incredibly hard to write, without crossing the line, into dictating how people should parent. I think I will leave that one to someone a bit more philosophical than myself :)
Well for me, I simply relate the facts and allow the reader to determine for themselves. What I can tell you is that "the system" appears to be designed to benefit the powers that be and not for the benefit of the youth. From my experience most social workers truly care for these youth but are brainwashed into doing things the way they are told. I believe in some cases they hire individuals that fit a certain profile. In my case, they totally underestimated me. Even with their psychological exams, interviews and lie detector test they cannot see your heart and soul. I was probably hired because of my degree in social service and rehab or they just needed to make their quota in older white females. Most of these workers don't have a clue about what is really going on. They think the are truly helping these kids.
Very wise words. You have are very clued up and it is a shame we all don't realise what is going on. Mind control is something that is done on every level of our society from deciding what we eat for breakfast, to how we socialise as a species. We have been studied like lab rats and you are bang on. They know exactly who to pick for certain rolls(that is a well documented trait of hypnotism) Because most do not have cruel intentions they must be 'bent' into shape through sanctions, low pay, overworked to cause stress and all manner of dirty little tricks. My mum is a just below the level of a social worker and from what she tells me, the job has the most horrible atmosphere. I can't remember how many times she has been 'disciplined'. She says that they use her to do the job of a social worker and overload those who will it. You seem to get three types of worker from this.
My friend you are right on here! Please do a post on this as it might just wake up a few people to the truth of what is going on all around the world. What has to change is taking away the power of those who wish to "control." That is why this platform and crypto in general is shifting that power. Take away their money, you take away their power to control.
Going through news I saw familyprotection and got interested, seeing this even make me wanto get more knowledgeable.

My mother has done similar work as a child advocate so I'm aware of some heartbreaking stories you must encounter. These stories need to be told so we can create real solutions. I look forward to reading your series!
Why don't you write some of your mother's stories and post them in support of this project? The more people who come forward, the more we can get the word out! Thank you for your support.

I worked in a hospital for the mentally handicapped for four years. I can imagine the abuse you have seen. ((Hugs)) The system fails in many ways. :(
We use to get a lot of the mentally handicapped youth in our facility. Most for assault on staff. I think they just got tired of dealing with them, so they sent them to us. Go figure...just lock em up, out of sight out of mind.

Its good my dear that you have thought of spreading awareness through your writing. I wish that more and more people read and stand up against such filthy acts in the name of Child protection
Thanks my friend and yes, that is the purpose for the writings. However, I am not content to simply spread awareness, I wish to help find solutions and assist with instituting positive change.
