It seems like the whole school system was designed to promote slavery even before we got to Common Core. Right down to the ugly buzzers training everyone to come and go on command and the very short time in which to slam down meals. It's a prison system masquerading as "education": in reality, it's "training", which is very different.
That's why I homeschooled my kids. Ever since the 1930's it's been a secular humanist nightmare.
Agreed. I'm thankful every day my parents chose the same route.
