LET THERE BE A STOP TO GIRL-CHILD GENITAL MUTILATION
Despite the raucous cries of people to this non-hallowed acts, there seems to be no stopping in sight. A little girl of infantile age mutilated will surely experience heavy blood flow which will definitely have a far-reaching consequence on the girl in not too far future.

Despite the campaign to ensure cessation of this dastardly act, it was with heavy heart I read in the news of a girl who was mutilated genitally in Lagelu Local Government of Oyo State in Nigeria and the profuse blood flow resulted in her death. Despite the public outcry and vexation, the mutilator was released because of the deceased's willingness without force of bringing the child.
I believe that the increment is due to many factors:
- Ignorance of the inherent harm which requires massive sensitization
- The belief in tradition among others
All hands are requested to be on deck to ensure that this despicable act is extirpated from the society. Girls are vulnerable. Let us help them.

It's just terrible that this is still a thing (also "breast ironing" which is almost even crazier than this). The worst part of all is that European authorities could do a lot against it, but they let it happen, even in the richest parts of the word, because political correctness demands them to respect every culture the same way - no matter what the specific cultural practice is. And who suffers the most at the end: Innocent children. What a mad world!
Indeed a mad world! The children that bear the brunt of such acts live their lives in pain and agony while those who can help look and flinch their eyes. A campaign is needed to end this
