The girl died of hunger: CPS inaction and indifference of people
Hello everyone! For a long time I was not on Steemit, because I lived with the children in the country outside. Today we came to the city to the hospital, so I have time to write a post. This post certainly applies to CPS, but first and foremost it's about the indifference and the fact, that we should not remain silent
So, in the place, where there is my country house, there is no Internet, only the TV works. About 2 weeks ago, all the TV channels told the terrible news - the mother starved 14 year old daughter. The girl died of exhaustion. After her death it became clear, that since the beginning of summer the girl didn't leave the house and didn't eat anything. It's unbelievable, that in the twenty-first century child living in a family, who were not on any records, died of starvation! The investigative authorities on July 19 reported, that a criminal case of the criminal code "Causing death by negligence". In the morning of July 16 in Krasnokamsk the woman having seen, that her 14-year-old daughter is in an unconscious state, called doctors of an ambulance. The arrived physicians verified death of the girl. A forensic medical examination is conducted to determine the exact cause of death of the child.
The case received a great public response and Federal publicity. Media and social networks began to report shocking details of the child's death. On 20. July security forces announced the second criminal case - under the article of the criminal code "Negligence". The investigation believes, that officials of bodies and institutions of the prevention system improperly performed their duties, did not timely identify the circumstances indicating the need to withdraw from the mother of a minor daughter in order to ensure the safety of her life and health, which led to the death of a 14-year-old girl. The investigating authorities have stated, that the forensic medical examination is carried out, only after the conference it will be possible to draw a conclusion about the cause of death of girls.
Meanwhile, already at the Federal level, talk about the starvation of the child. Students of the school where Victoria was trained, noticed, that the teenager began to lose weight in April 2018. The girl refused to eat at school. With friends she shared a pessimistic mood, she say, I wait for the 1. September. Residents of the house, where the mother of the dead girl lives, talk about the strange behavior of women: walking year-round in big black glasses, unsociable. On the day, when the girl died, law enforcement officers found no food in the apartment. The neighbors could not believe, that the girl died of hunger. It turned out, that there were a lot of disturbing calls, and if everyone responded, the girl would be saved. But people were ashamed to go into personal life with a kind of prosperous, but strange family. It turned out, that the mother has a large debt to pay for housing services. The apartment is out of power. It turns out, that for a long time the family has no possibility of cooking. The girl lost weight, but did not ask for food from friends. About how to cook in the apartment in the absence of light, no one, apparently, did not think.
Those, who knew Vika and her mother, started talking about the hard mode in the family. Everything was under the strict control of the mother. There was information about the fact, that the woman herself diagnosed her daughter — cancer, then diabetes. The girl might have taken the fruit, the sweets, that the children offered as a meal at school, but she was afraid, that the food would be contagious. The child was inspired with such thought, the girl was afraid to disobey mother.
Vika will not be returned, but the society should think and draw conclusions in order to avoid a repetition of such a shocking situation. Experts believe, that the mother has no maternal instinct, because in the lack of money the mother will always find a piece of bread for her child. But what if we look at the situation from a different angle? In the apartment, where the child lives, the light is turned off. But neither social protection, nor guardianship authorities, law enforcement agencies or don't know about it, or don't want to resolve an issue. The municipal service applied a measure to the debtor — limited supply of electricity, everyone knew about this measure, but did not signal to different instances. Here is how strange it turns out, the teacher reported to the CPS for any reason, including the usual bruise. And here all saw, that the girl strongly and quickly lost weight, but nobody took it into account. A separate issue to the neighbors. They heard shouts in the apartment, abuse as the girl asked to eat, but mother sent her to sleep, but too didn't report anywhere. Why such indifference? I understand, that there must be a measure in everything, but if you have suspicions and evidence... Everyone thought, that the girl's mother was crazy, but nobody cared. But now all excitedly tell, what the girl was lean and her mother crazy. All the information I'd gathered from various television programs that are broadcast by the Federal channels. I want to ask everyone not to be indifferent! If you see something suspicious, you do not have to immediately contact the police or CPS, you can first talk to the child, go to visit, if we are talking about your neighbors. After all, a child can really suffer and sometimes is not able to ask for help. It's really scary when a child in the 21st century in a civilized country dies of hunger.
