CPS took away a child from the British, who first became parents after 60 years. What other reasons will CPS find???

Hello everyone! Today I want to tell you about the case, that happened in the UK at the end of April 2018. CPS took away a child, who gave birth to a surrogate mother, from the British, who first became parents after 60 years. Social services took the one-year-old baby for one reason only: in their opinion, parents are not young enough to take care of him. 63-year-old Englishwoman and her 65-year-old husband can not accept the fact that their child was transferred to an orphanage. It is known, that the couple had long dreamed of a successor. To implement the desired, they spent more than 100 thousand pounds. The husband and wife found a young surrogate mother and signed a contract with a foreign clinic, in which they conducted the procedure of fertilization of a donor egg. That there were no problems, in the birth certificate of the kid in the column "mother" there was a name of the woman, who bore it. Later she wrote a rejection of the child, and pensioners officially and everything is done only for the sake of this child. The couple does not intend to give up. The British are trying to defend their rights in court and return the sole heir.

The public is divided into two camps: some believe, that the CPS are right, because pensioners are many years old and they will not be able to raise a child. Others believe, that the CPS violated the rights of a married couple. The question is really quite controversial. If we talk about the actions of CPS, they are definitely not right. They certainly violated the law and the rights of citizens, because in any law there is no mention of the age to which a person has the right to adopt a child. CPS condemned the newborn baby to a broken fate, because it was taken away from parents. Why couldn't CPS take control of the family? Come to visit, to watch? Agree, all people at different ages feel different. Someone in 40 years feels themselves old man, has health problems. And someone in 70 years runs every morning, is engaged in sports, can brag of excellent health and people around only are surprised when learn how many years to this person.

I looked, what is said on the subject in law in Russia. So, there is only the lower limit of the age, from which a person has the right to adopt a child. The upper limit of the age limit for adoptive parents does not exist. The decision on adoption depends on the physical, economic and moral strength of the couple. If we forget the law and try to judge it in a human way. Of course, age matters. So, it is possible to assume, that the child will be shy of elderly mothers and fathers in kindergarten or school, will not be able to establish confidential contact or will be too constrained. Older spouses themselves are not always able to provide adequate material and psychological support to the younger person, as child care requires high physical activity and support, both material and moral. Children, approaching the age of 10 years, become vulnerable to public attention. Accordingly, when peers begin to notice the unnatural difference in the age of the parents and the ward offspring, they can begin to annoy uncomfortable questions or ridicule. If other kids mom and dad are active, athletic, secured, in comparison with their elderly parents, reminiscent of grandparents, the child can feel very uncomfortable.

But it's solvable. If the couple has money to sign a surrogacy contract with the clinic, then perhaps they have a means of livelihood, so in my opinion the question of the material support of the child has already been resolved. If a couple has long dreamed of a child, surely they are aware and understand all the responsibility, that will fall on their shoulders. I doubt, that they aren't undergoing medical examinations or an inactive lifestyle. It kind of reminds me of a story, where CPS took a child away, because of a low IQ score from their parents. So why are they not then rewrite the laws and will not present clear requirements for future parents: age, IQ, education, growth, hair color, shoe size... What other reasons will they find to remove the child from the family? As usual, they do not think about the child, about his condition, about what psychological trauma he will receive. Of course not, is CPS really created for this purpose? What nonsense!

Because the system instead of supporting people who really have an interest in the well-being of children are only responsible for using different types of strategies and separating them, this is absurd.
