CPS and Cops Caught on Camera Belittling Plano Couple.

We've often written about the hubris and smugness of CPS employees, specifically, the seemingly widespread belief among their ilk that they are above the law, and that parents who KNOW their rights should be treated with contempt and disrespect. This sad video captures all of that for everyone to see:

You'' notice right away, that neither the CPS employees or the cops claim to have a warrant, nor do they initially say anything about their reason for being there.

By the time they do say that, the mother and kids had apparently skedaddled. If they had started with a POLICEMAN on scene, and told the mother they had a court order to examine the premises, there probably would not have been this big drawn-out drama.

The father makes a good point that they certainly COULD HAVE scheduled to show up so that he would have been there for the when they arrived, but that is another thing about CPS. They seem to thrive on just being as tyrannical and non-communicative as possible.

I loved that the father heard the haughty female CPS agent call him "one of those people who thinks he knows all about the law." He had a great answer for her to end the video... You'll just have to watch to the end to see how that ended up.

Again, CPS needs to act like any other member of society unless there is a valid reason to suspect a crime has been committed, or that children are in some sort of imminent danger. CPS seems to WANT to be involved in violent standoffs, or something....Any chance they can get to throw their weight around and fell their own self importance.

Finally, I can't imagine what they think they are going to accomplish the next day "in thirty seconds," but that sure doesn't sound like a "search," but more like a "seizure" they have planned. Fortunately, the family does end up with time to contact a lawyer. It sure does sound like they are going to need one!
