A Piece of Orphan Story, Do not Love Me
A Story from the Chairman of the Foundation on the Orphan who was appointed to be in school.
Will not there be a single child in this world who wants to be born in an orphaned state? Or be an orphan? Because indeed, no one knows when the death of a father or father occurred. All the affairs of the living, including death are the affairs of God. Up here, all we know very well even understand.
In fact, no one child wants to grieve? Especially regretting his life?
Of course, not because they do not have clothes Eid. Or envy the peers who happy with their parents before the holiday. He was sad, because the child had never seen the figure of his father since he was born 16 years ago. Sad, because he was "forced" to quit school after school. Because there is no cost to continue to High School. Up here, all of us also understand.
That's just, a piece of orphaned stories in remote corners of Mount Salak Bogor. We and maybe most people can only stroke the chest, pity. Pity them, in our hearts.
Call it his name Furkan, age 16 years, orphans growing teenagers.
An orphan who never saw his father figure. Now, this lives with her grandmother, along with her two older brothers. It is said, according to the story of his grandmother, Furkan has been left since his father in the womb. Because mental illness aka crazy. Probably because of the economic crush. Then leave the house. A dozen years later, it was heard that Furkan's father had died. While the mother of Furkan, since 6 years ago remarried. And now, living with her husband in the Round Mountain of Bogor. Every now and then, to see his children.
Furkan bint Fulan, already 3 years ago has become one of 11 orphans built a pesantren in Warung Loa, Leg Mountain Salak Bogor. Also her brother was named Satria, but unfortunately the brother dropped out of school. Take part in every month, read prayers, and share some pocket money / school fees. He was quiet, rarely talking. But from the look on his face, he looks smart and diligent to learn. Well, the standard of children in the village is about that.
About 7 months ago, when Chairman of the Foundation visited his home. And see his grandfather's grave. Furkan's grandmother told the Chairman of the Foundation that Furkan wanted to go to school, continue to High School. Really, the Chairman of the Foundation can only be silent. And answer, God willing in a small heart. Because the Chairman of the Foundation is most afraid of "promise" to orphans. About anything, any matter.
Since then, the Chairman of the Foundation has been building discussions with his wife. Because it's a matter of orphan school. No halfway. Must be done. Although the Foundation Chairman and his family have been in the "orphan" for 22 years, the head of the pesantren must remain cautious. Because during this time the Chairman of the Foundation "nurture" rather than "adopt a child". And during that time, my family and I have only "raised orphans" to "adopted children" not more than 4 people. And now everything, is not at home the head of the pesantren anymore. Some even married. For the head of pesantren affairs of orphans, it is not easy. Be careful. Even though we know, religion commands to sympathize with orphans.
Consequently that afternoon, after knowing Furkan bint Fulan received at State Senior High School 1 Taman Sari Bogor. Chairman of the Foundation and the family with permission of his grandmother willing to make Furkan as adopted child. Become a foster parent in the midst of solitude. Chairman of the Foundation understands it is not easy, but this he did as a form of gratitude and commitment to the sustainability of school children orphans. To stay in school like any other child. Insha Allah, the head of the boarding school is responsible for the cost of school, jajan, and the need to study him to graduate high school later, 3 years into the future. Of course with the permission of Allah SWT. The spirit is simple; DO and BISMILLAH.
And thank God Alhamdulillah now Furkan can learn again with the spirit that wants to be a useful person someday in the future.
