Oh to have common sense of a farmer! I humbly bring a poem that centers on the subject of child theft and human trafficking. This is a horror that plagues families though the immoral kidnapping by the CPS foster care system, as well as the national human child trafficking at our borders.

About the poem

The poem is three stanzas of 24 lines total. Each stanza addresses a different situation, yet share the common thread of child invasion. The first stanza addresses burglary and home invasion by a criminal. The second focuses on an unwelcomed home invasion and theft of children by the CPS foster care system. The final stanza addresses the human trafficking of children and border security of a country.

The unlocked door

In each scenario the theft is as a result of failure to lock the door or address security. The life and wealth of the family is invaded and compromised. Sadly irresponsibility does compromise with the potential of causing harm. The CPS theft (second stanza) takes this invasion to a whole new level. Child enslavement for cash profit is a world wide problem plaguing innocent families today. Young children are being sold and trafficked while innocence and dreams are destroyed. Again the scenario is raised. In the final stanza the writer speaks of national security and the epidemic of human trafficking as it weakens a nation. As the poem concludes, he surmises with a bit of pointed humor ...

A farmer would know more
With common sense as self defense
He'd lock the barnyard door!

Apathy and sheeple

Child theft thrives on your apathy. In fact you are helping them in their efforts through your whatever attitude. The poem addresses this several places as in 'My silent sleeping wife you silenced further still' and 'While I was but away.' and 'Our country could not see.' What about you? You Entered Though The Door

You entered through the door
With shadows of a Glock
You bound and raped my little ones
The deadbolt was unlocked
My silent sleeping wife
You silenced further still
And took the grab of wealth we had
Intimidate to kill.

You entered through the door
With stolen lies a crock.
The pain you left in child theft
The deadbolt still... unlocked.
And sold to foster care
An innocence to slay.
Discard and dash! You took the cash
While I was but away.

You entered through the door.
Our country could not see
Horror graphic, human traffic
And crying to be free!
And forcing to disarm.
A farmer would know more
With common sense as self defense
