The Auction! - Scott Campbell Scenario #8 - The Family Handbook - Enjoy with Troy!

The town folks piled into the old action house on Clark Street in Buffalo, Iowa. This was going to be a good auction. People were grabbing a number and checking out the tables before the start of the auction.

"Hey Dave."

"Hey Bob you made it!"

"I wouldn't want to miss it. And my old friend Scott here. We used to go to auctions together when we were kids."

A smile formed across Scott's face as the men hugged.

" You know the Lord has been good to me. And for that I am so grateful."

"He has let you live Scott. You are just to ornery to die."

"Yeah. I still have to get my strength back though."

"You will. So I heard there is a story on this guy's stuff. How did he die?"

Dave replies, "Well they say that a few year back he and his wife divorced. She had custody of the children and the CPS got involved."

"Imagine that."

"Before the CPS took the kids he could see them on the weekends. After they got involved he never saw them. It got to him and he couldn't take it."

"Imagine, Bob, being separated from Andy and Tim,"

They say he took his car out on interstate 88 a few weeks ago when we had that cold snap.

"Yes...go on"

"Well the car broke down and he could not get help. He started walking and froze to death."

"If only more people knew how to handle the CPS"

"Or we didn't have a CPS."

"Quite true. Hey look at those flat screens over there Scott,"

"I saw a freezer that would work well in the basement."

"Hey Dave have you ever seen a lamp like this?"

"Oh my they even have an old family bible here."

"Family Bible?"

"Yes it must be 150 years old. Look at that cover!"

"Family bible...Yes that is it"

A smile came across Scott's face as he replied

"What is it Scott?"

"I need to get in contact with linda @canadian-coconut and Mark @markwhittam tomorrow.

"What do you mean?"

" Everyone take a seat the auction will be starting shortly."

Bob replied , " I think I understand where Scott is going."

BACK STORY

This is the 8th in a series of possible scenarios of the life of our lead character, Scott Allen Campbell. Scenario 1 showed Scott dead from getting caught up into the CPS system and his father, John Campbell visiting his grave. Scenario 2 offered a Scott in a prison after being tossed around by the CPS. Scott is visited by his mother, Rachel, for the last time and being disowned as a family member upon her death. Scenario 3 has Scott taken by the CPS and sexually abused by the system. He then goes out and sexually abuses others getting on the sex offender registry and facing the crossroads of his life. Scenario #4 we see Scott offered the invitation to join a church based support group especially designed for foster care/CPS victims. Scenario #5 shows Scott taking a job helping children and families and making a difference. Scenario #6 shows Scott at an international crusade for families and being shot and ALMOST killed. Scenario #7 has Scott coming out of a coma and a @familyprotection office reaching people in need. I encourage you to read this back stories and blogs as they paint a picture of one person's reality with discussion following each story.

There is a beautiful but unintended progression to this series as shown below. We see a progression. Scott went from death as a victim of the system standing up and dying for victims of the system. There is a natural progression from Scenario 1 to Scenario 6 as shown below. it is a direction from life without meaning to life full of meaning....from meaningless death to life full of purpose and meaning.

Scenario #1 -Dead as a victim of the system
Scenario #2 - Imprisoned as a victim of the system
Scenario #3 - Sexually abused sex offender offered a new beginning
Scenario #4 - Offered a Church based Support group for foster car / CPS victims
Scenario #5 - Interviewed for a job helping children and families and make a difference
Scenario #6 - Risks is life almost dying for freedom against the CPS/foster care system
scenario #7 - Family Protection office reaching people and Scott surviving a coma

i might ad that in reality I did go to the auction of the guy who died from freezing to death on Interstate 88. And yes I did also have an auction buddy growing up who is my best friend today. He is Bob in this series.

THE FAMILY HANDBOOK BIBLE

I think I understand what Scott was thinking. We have the Holy Bible to help us is spiritual warfare. It is good and blessed. But we need a Family bible to help protect and defend against the CPS. This would be a handbook available to families FREE OF CHARGE. It would draw from the many stories and experiences that others have had and how to best respond when the CPS is knocking at your door. This go to handbook would b indexed by subject and would deal with hundreds of things like

knowing the difference between a warrant and an order.
Knowing when a warrant is legit and real.
Being schooled on what verbiage to use around the CPS
Recognizing their lingo and cues.
Instructing children how to act and what to say
A chapter on your rights and legal options
A chapter on the importance of documenting and journaling
Give examples or models of role playing scenarios.
Knowing what questions to ask and when not to
Having phone number and contact info in case of emergency.
Having a blank page or two for special phone numbers.

The list goes on... and on... and on... I envision this as maybe pocket size and under 60 pages. Although it does not need to be that size. I also see it being updated yearly.

Sadly this is a game that many have to play. But if they have have a thorough instructional handbook as their bible against the CPS, they will be farther ahead. The handbook or Family bible along with the Holy Bible work together in defending the family. Think of it as a supplement. Together you have the armor to protect and defend yourself.

Another element of this I would encourage is a 1 800 toll free @familyprotection hotline available to families in emergency or crisis situations that are or may be a victim of the CPS. The need for help is not an 8 - 5 situation. It can come out of the blue at any moment.

Together we can uplift families and children. Together they can remain happy and solid. And once again the fabric can stay knitted and strong supporting the tapestry that keeps neighborhoods, towns and cultures healthy and alive. Together we will will the battle and the war against the CPS and the evil it brings. TOGETHER WE ARE FAMILY.
