Asmat tribe is a tribe in Papua who live in the interior of the forest, this tribe is famous for its beautiful wood carving, many unique things from the tribe asmat known by the crowd, such as dance, language, home, art, wood carving , and his lifestyle is still very simple.

Currently Asmat tribe is experiencing serious problems, namely the outbreak of measles and malnutrition, it causes many of the children of Asmat tribe threatened to die due to measles and acute malnutrition that they are experiencing.

Media Antara writes, January 2018 there are at least 393 Asmat people who must be in outpatient and 175 others must get intensive care.

This is inseparable from the role and responsibility of the Indonesian government in terms of paying attention to the life of Asmat people who are very far from the word decent life. The government is obliged to provide health services as well as matters related to the welfare of tribal asmat communities.

The Ship will also bring 100 volunteers as well as medical teams and nutritionists who will support health services to reduce the mortality rates of Asmat tribes due to measles and malnutrition.
