CPS/ A THORN THAT PIERCES AND A KNIFE THAT SEVERS THE FAMILIAL BOND

They stealthily come like a thief,
Behaving as though they are chief,
Our bond they tend to severe,
From our children with griping pain.

Under the cloak of protection they lunge at us,
Behaving like a demigod on horse,
Forcefully taking our children from us,
To slavery and prostitution they sell them without pity.

A family friend once narrated an ordeal,
How her daughter was taken away her,
Despite the legal tussle that came to a nought,
The mental destability she fought can only be imagined.

Till today she moves as though she is dead,
Occasional mental derangement and burstling into cries,
The love she shroud so perfectly they stole from her,
A effect too much ro bear as she trudge on a daily basis.

A stop we must find to the trend of their activities,
Of how they wreak havoc on families and children,
A fight that is humane,
A cause that we must commit ourselves to.

CPS is a devil incarnate,
Coming in the garb of helping,
But their effects can only been imagined,
A stop we crave and we must amplify our rave.

It is not a mean feat as there would be threats from every sides but for the sturdy resolution to forge ahead despite their intimidating acts.
