Children for profit

The article is about a foster care company that was investigated seven times for creating unsafe conditions for children in their care; then government crap about jurisdiction got in the way of shutting it down.

Until a child died on their watch.

What I was focusing on... a private company looking after kids is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

The less it costs them to watch the kids the more money they make.

Which is incentive for anybody to start cutting corners.

How about a law that takes private enterprise out of positions of power over people that can be easily taken advantage of.

Granted. That puts them in the care of the government who have no oversight.
