Child services at fault

By now most people in Canada has seen the video of the RCMP member questioning a rape victim and asking her if she was turned on.

Here’s a link to an article with the video. I do have to warn you that the video will make you angry.

There’s a massive failure from every level of the system this child went through.

She was attacked while in foster care. Her foster parent was stealing from her. She had to fight the system just to get to report to the RCMP. In the end... no charges were filed against anyone and she had to remain in the system.

The good news if there can be any good news.

She’s nineteen now and taking the system to court and while they haven’t been in front of the judge yet, everything that she went through is now coming out into the public consciousness and people are absolutely pissed off about it.

It’s enough of a headache that Members of the Canadian Parliament have come out and condemned the RCMP officer.

They didn’t condemn the system though

They didn’t propose any changes to the system

But it’s a start because the public in Canada is now aware of what’s going on and commenting.

It’s also not over. The case is going to be heard causing more to come out, and the plaintive has already given her consent for people to talk about it.

It’ll make change. At the very least it’ll make people that run the system be careful

"Child Protection Agencies" are taking children away from their loving families.
THESE FAMILIES NEED PROTECTING.

That’s so gross. It shouldn’t be allowed
