As you know, my mom and I had to deal with something similar -- only, in OUR case, it was when some spite calls were made to Adult Protective Services by "concerned" people whose motive was to try to get us into nursing homes and/or group homes in order to fulfill their own greedy agenda. Three people came from APS with two out of three being very nice and the third one being a jerk.

A lot needs to be changed re: the system.

You have proven yourself over and over.

You were NEVER a criminal -- you were a victim who got TREATED like a criminal. This never should have happened.
