Thanksgiving in May
For some reason my wife got it in her head that the day before Memorial Day would be a good day to cook a turkey dinner. Her family is visiting for the long holiday weekend, so we had extra mouths to feed.
The turkey was the main attraction in my book.
And we had some sides like dressing, corn, and mashed potatoes (not pictured). The dressing was especially good. It featured bread cubes, mushrooms, and onions.
For dessert was pound cake with strawberries (not pictured).
It was a good excuse to enjoy a big meal with family. We ended the day with a bonfire in the back yard (also not pictured).
Mmmm looks delicious @methus!
Belly full of Turkey and a bonfire sounds like a great Sunday
