Workman Temple Homestead Museum @dtube Short Film CineVideo Exclusive

Hello Steemians and Dtubians,

This is a short CineVideo @dtube "Exclusive" only to be seen on the @dtube and @steemit Platform. I and My Family had an amazing time at the "Workman/Temple Homestead Museum" on Sunday. I did all the editing and I am releasing it tonight just for all of you #steemians and #dtubians.

My Niece Julie, her two boys Nathan and Issac and My Niece Courtney's (Who couldn't be with us) two girls Jessica and Jessel went on this trip and as you can see, the kids were amazed at the history and landscape of this #historic home in our hometown of La Puente California.

They had so much fun and they learned a little bit about the #history of our city. Where the names came from. Who the schools and streets were named after and how the area we live in is rich with #culture everywhere you look. I hope all of you enjoyed this video as much as I enjoyed making it for you and as much as the kiddos had on the trip as well.

The house we toured was built in the 1840's and is still standing today. It is made of adobe brick. Adobe brick is a red clay that came from around the rivers and it was sealed together with manure so it would stay together very strong. The grapevines, we were told, are the original grapevines from the 1920 era and still live and produce grapes today. The property switched family members hands many times over being lost to a depression then regained by other family members. It is a very nice tour and this was only the first tour of the two.
