The Bright Side
The last couple weeks I have been working from home, like the lucky ones who haven't been laid off.
So many lay offs, so many lost lives. This virus has been so brutal and I truly believe it hasn't yet shown us its worst.
Having said that, this time at home, forced into quarantine, has afforded my family the wonderful opportunity to come closer together.
Yesterday we had a hightea lunch, blacktie affair and all.
Today we had a impromptu talent show, complete with dancing, juggling and comedy: My daughter called it her circus.
So many special memories...
As always thank you for your time and attention. Have an amazing day and God bless.
Great to look at the bright side..
I agree that we probably haven't seen the worst yet.. exponential growth rate and all that. The quarantining is important to buy us time, to build the infrastructure we need and whatnot.. I generally agree with it.. but we really don't know how big the peaks will be at some point.
Love the talent show!!!
The positive side of the coin is people getting back to the basics I think. And maybe some of those habits will stick.
Lots of good to go with it!!!
Even smaller things like learning to work productively from home is probably a good thing. People like that and can be around their families (and in turn less office space is needed and cost of real estate i.e. rent is lower etc etc).
Stay strong!!
So true. Lots of postive to this tough situation. Only thing that really worries me in this, it aint the virus, death or even economic fallout, even tho all thise might be realities, its the government grabbing power and authority that they might never surrender afterwards.
Hope you and yours are healthy and safe.
Definitely! It's really eery when you think of martial law and similar stuff starting to feel sort of normal or maybe even happening in some places?
It's like if you remove "coronavirus" from your mind.... it would just seem mad, like how is this real
and people would say "well it's for corona obv!", and it's like well okay sure. But there would always be a reason. I'm sure as Hitler hit full swing... there were reasons.
So it's definitely weird. To me it feels like a lot of the energy of government seems genuinely trying to help and put out the fire, but even with okay intentions, ending up with more power and weird controls is just an inevitable part of what might happen.
You too!!
I think the more we stay safe and practice good habits on our own, there's less need for govt to do stuff and have weird powers 👍👍
