Sadira: "YES!"
Granny gets her pencil and paper, and says "OK, write down 1+1= then write your answer."
Sadira does as instructed.
Granny: "Very good! Now write 1+2= and your answer."
Sadira does as instructed.
Granny: "That is exactly right! OK, lets do spelling. Can you write 'cat?'"
Sadira writes "cat."
Granny: "Oh, that is very good, but do you know how to make a little a?"
Nope. Not that one. That is the one granny made after she stopped giggling to show what I meant by "little a." Look at the bottom. You might need to enlarge the picture...

Absolutely, especially if you are willing to take steem bucks for it. There is a group called @homesteaderscoop that specializes in handmade / wildcrafted type stuff.
There is a "hard fork" coming up sometime, the hope is to make this a more business oriented platform. I am just along for the ride, I like that I am earning crypto without spending dollars. Even if it goes up and down in wild swings, I just don't care. It is still more than I make on facebook lol!
Are you catching on to upvoting? As a newbie, your vote is not worth much, but it is still sort of like tossing a coin in the tip jar. I upvote all the posts I like, I have a few people on autovote because I know they do good work consistently, and all replies to my posts. You get "curation rewards" based on those voting interactions, and the upvotes cost you nothing. They come from a "reward pool" that is generated daily, and if not spent, is sort of wasted. That is why I use the autovoter, to make sure I am at least making a few upvotes even when I am not online. I have to get on that site and get you added to my autovoter, now that I think about it.
There are all kinds of tools like the autovoter. If you decide you are ready to delve into this a little deeper, let me know and I will show you a few tricks.
