Transforming Birth with EFT Tapping – Part 1 – Turning a Late Breach Baby

A few weeks ago, we were delighted to have a beautiful new baby. Throughout the pregnancy and birth, I was able to support my wife, and the baby with tapping techniques, including Matrix Birth Reimprinting. The outcomes were wonderful and I want to share some of them, which are some of the best personal tapping experiences I’ve had.

At 36 weeks and 3 days into the pregnancy, we found out that our baby had turned from head down to the breach position.

This time, it felt right to work with my wife, so we started to explore what was going on.

The first thing that came up was her residual fear from our son’s birth almost six years ago. It had been a long and drawn out home birth over three days and it seemed as though the baby had gone into the breach position in order to protect mum from another difficult birth by positioning for a C-section birth. We used EFT to release some of the fear and then Matrix Reimprinting to go in and support her younger self that everything would work out well – which it did in the end.

A lot of emotion came up for her during this part of the session and she was surprised and felt much better afterwards.

Next, we tuned into the baby and found that it had turned this way because it wanted to feel closer to Mum’s heart and more connected to her. So, we used colour and gently tapping to reassure it about still being close to Mum and that this had been the perfect position for it to be in all the way through it’s time growing and developing in the womb. However, now it was time to turn around and be ready to come out in the world.

The whole way through this, the baby was very active and my wife felt a lot of movement going on.

We then checked in to see how she felt about the birth and she felt much more relaxed about it. So, we decided to use the Matrix Birth Reimprinting method to visualise and imprint the future birth that both Mum and the baby desired. Again, this was a beautiful process. I’ll let you know what happened in a future post.

Three days later, we had a scan to check what was happening. While this wouldn’t have been my choice at this late stage of the pregnancy, the midwife had requested that we have one so that she’d feel happy to continue with our preferred choice of a natural home birth. It was also important so that my wife would feel good about things. We communicated with the baby using Matrix Reimprinting to let it know that the scan was coming up and it might hear some loud noise, to take any shock out of it.

It turned out that the scan was very quick and….the baby had turned over and the head was engaged!

The Dr was happy to tell us that it was now in a perfect position for a home birth (this is in Spain, where home births are pretty rare). Not only that, but the placenta – which had been anterior had now moved to a posterior position, which is ideal. This blew my mind, but it turns out that this can happen quite a lot, as the growth of the womb as it stretches can naturally move the placenta position relative to the baby.

So, of course, we were joyful about what happened and looking forward to meeting our baby. Although I was the practitioner and guide during the process, I got a really strong vision of how the baby would look. I can say now, that bit came true!
