Willie My Little Angel Dog

I have always wanted to get a dog as an adult. I have been a single mom since I turned 20 and I never had the opportunity to make it work with my schedule.

A couple months back I found a sweet little pitbull named Jasmine online and she was at the humane society. I went to visit her and she was one of the most abused dogs I had ever seen. She walked in the room and couldn’t even stand up all the way because she was so scared. Tears started streaming down my face and I pet her and did energy work on her. I knew I couldn’t take her and it broke my heart. I left feeling so empty and sad that I couldn’t help more. I got a call a couple hours later saying she had been adopted and I wondered if the energy work I did might have helped her open up.

I continued my search and it was a dud every time. Life got hectic and I wondered if I could even handle a dog and give it the attention it deserved.

The impact of the stress of the year had really gotten to me and I really wanted a dog as a companion animal and to help with my anxiety. I kept waiting because I knew the timing just wasn’t right.

Then I met Willie and we bonded the day we met. I told his dad @amvanaken that Willie was in love with me the first day we met. We just had that instant bond and I knee Willie and I had a special connection.

I have watched him open up to me and my sons so much. His presence has helped all of us in so many ways. Sometimes angels walk this earth and Willie is our family Angel Dog and we love him so much 💜💙💜
