FATHERSDAY FACTS

Fathersday you either celebrate or you do not.
But for kids off those dads its a highlight ( although the older ones we've got think about it in the night before!) and the shops like it aswell.

School thrives on making the Fathersday presents and we’ve got ours two weeks ago.
Fathersday is a american initiative from 1010. Than it became an official day off. During the weeks before the third Sunday of june the webshops, adverts and television commercials are on constantly reminding us of the coming day for father.

Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. In Catholic Europe, it has been celebrated on March 19 (St. Joseph's Day) since the Middle Ages. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March, April and June. It complements similar celebrations honouring family members, such as Mother's Day, Siblings Day and Grandparents' Day.

From a servey done last year came that 50%
Of the people celebrates this day. From that 68% buys a present, either online or in a store. 3% makes a DIY present. 7% does both and 22% celebrates but doesnt buy gifts.
The presents for fathers are mostly electronics, clothes(Ties ) or a giftcard. And 3 % gives flowers.

My dad got a photo frame with a family portrait in black and white, for in his office.

@cvds was glad to receive the bought and DIY Made presents.
