Cooperation and its importance in society and its value in Islam .
The more complex the life, the greater the need for cooperation
The concept of cooperation is one of the oldest concepts in the world. The need for cooperation arose with the beginning of human existence. When man found himself in the face of nature and circumstances, he resorted to his fellow man in an attempt to stand up to the harsh conditions. Human at first in the face of predators.
In the face of the individual's inability to cope with the circumstances of the surrounding nature, these groups developed with the development of crafts and industries, so cooperation in securing various types of products. The world has witnessed the cooperation of members of one community, facing another, then the union of groups in the face of other united groups. The more complex the life becomes, the more cooperation will be needed.
What is the meaning of cooperation in Arabic and English?
In the dictionary of Mukhtar al-Sahah al-Razi, we find that cooperation is a word derived from (aid, aid, and subsidy). It is said that a man is a helper, that is, a great deal of aid to people, and it is said to be used for his help and cooperation. Collaboration in English, according to Oxford Dictionaries, is the act or process we do together to reach one or both ends. The two languages agree on what cooperation is. The term "linguistic cooperation" does not differ from its linguistic meaning. The term has the same linguistic meaning, which serves to combine efforts, to reach a common goal, or a single benefit, which is often not accessible individually.
The importance of cooperation in Islam
All religions consider cooperation as one of the most important human values on which the welfare of society is based and its continuation. Islam encourages cooperation between individuals and nations to ensure a decent life for all by cooperating on good and providing assistance to those who need it. Table:
(And cooperate on righteousness and piety and do not cooperate in sin and transgression)
As well as in the Cave of the Cave, where the Quran tells the story of the two horns, who worked with the people of the country to build the dam in the face of Gog and Magog:
(They said: O the horns that Gog and Magog spoilers in the land, do we make you come out to make between us and a dam, he said what enabled me, my Lord is good Vainni strongly I make between them and them a red, And I will throw a stone over him.
The value of cooperation in Islam also stems from the principle of zakat, which is based on the establishment of a state of social solidarity that ensures balance among the members of the same group. The rich must help the poor, and the strong must support the weak. Most of the site of the Holy Quran, as stated in Surat al-Nur:
(And set up the prayer and pay zakaah and obey the Prophet, may you be merciful)
The Prophet of Islam Muhammad (PBUH) also stressed the value of mutual support and cooperation among believers in several agreed hadiths, including saying:
(From Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him said, that the Messenger of Allah Muhammad peace be upon him said: "The believer is like the two sons tighten each other" and a link between his fingers) Narrated by Sheikhs and Tirmidhi.
And the hadeeth of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari said:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The Ash'ariites, if they are widowed in the invasion, or the food of their children in the city, gather what they had in one garment, and then divide it among them in one pot.
The development of cooperation with the growth of human groups and the development of civilization
As we mentioned in the introduction, cooperation is an old concept due to the beginning of the human existence, but it is the path of human evolution. Its forms are varied and varied in terms of man. He began with individual cooperation with his immediate environment, so that he can secure his basic needs, most notably his need for safety and food. Diversity of experience, and labor, as Ibn Khaldun mentioned in his introduction, until cooperation began to take on new dimensions with the growth of human groups and the outbreak of wars between them, the establishment of political and military alliances.
Cooperation in the modern era also has its unique forms, which began with the formation of class cooperation groups (the poor versus the rich and vice versa), trade unions, socialist parties, and social groups that deal with a specific social issue (women's rights associations, ), All these forms are based on one concept, the concept of cooperation, which is originally based on the metaphors of human behavior, and the tendency of the human to benefit, which can not be achieved alone.
The need for the existence of the State and the existence of institutions governing the life of society have also emerged. However, this organization is also part of organized cooperation. The social contract has been discussed in the organization of this cooperation, and history is rich in forms of cooperation. That is, it is not an absolute value, it is a meeting of individual forces as a result of the existence of common interests, including what may be good, including what may be in the evil, There are military alliances that cooperate to destroy the world M, from the Axis alliance, then the former Warsaw Pact, to confront the Allied forces, as well as NATO countries.
