#AlDubTheUnrivaledFame
Although it only takes two to tango, but it only takes two to conquer the world, too.
After 41 million record-breaking tweets, skyrocketed ratings, various TV commercials and global recognition, AlDub is a perfect example of "The mammoth display of online prowess".

AlDub is a shortened name of GMA 7's talent Alden Richards and crowned Dubsmash Queen Maine Mendoza, popularly known as "Yaya Dub" (Divina Ursula Bokbokova Smash). This phenomenal love team has set Twitter ablaze now for 3 months and continues to make hearts go flutter with its giddy exchange of Dubsmash or lip synching. With the excitement and 'kilig-factor' the show is giving its viewers, fans wonder (or hope) that AlDub is becoming real.
How it all Started

On the noon time show Eat Bulaga's segment called "Juan for All, All for Juan", along with Wally Bayola , Jose Manalo and Paolo Ballesteros, Yaya Dub only communicates through vocal dubbing and identified as a snobbish maiden. July 16, 2015 marked the first meeting of Alden and Yaya Dub.

The young Filipina maiden took notice of a fine-looking man, Alden, watching her through the live split-screen monitor after her dubbing of famous songs and movie lines. Yaya Dub broke her own wary and sheepishly did a "Pabebe wave" (a beauty queen wave gesture) to Alden.
This gave idea to the producers of the show to make an on-screen couple of the two. The loveteam was then formed. The 30-minute Kalye-serye was purely natural and unscripted but made whole segment attention-grabbing.

The Journey to Forever
Just like Cinderella, who has an evil stepmother and two wicked stepsisters, Lola Nidora became the love team's villain. Lola Nidora gave Alden a set of challenges to force him to give up on courting Yaya Dub. Alongside the difficult tasks that Alden was facing, the character of Lola Nidora also reminded the viewers of the forgotten traditional Filipino values and how grandmothers should instill discipline and values towards the younger generation. She often highlighted patience and how everything will come "sa tamang panahon" (at the right time).\

Lots of twists and turns surfaced as the show went by including the two attempts of #YaKie wedding. Yakie stands for Yaya Dub and Frankie Arinolli portrayed by Jose Manalo, who is a "self-proclaimed handsome lad". He is wealthy enough to pay Lola Nidora's 50 million ransom for her stolen Secret Diary . But it seems like luck has sided with Alden and Yaya Dub. The triumphed over and even won the hearts of many. Later on, the two had their first duet , first meeting (flesh to flesh) , first date and subsequently celebrating daysaries, weeksaries and monthsaries.
AlDub Nation Unites for Tamang Panahon
Held at the 55,000-seater Philippine Arena in Bulacan, AlDub fans united for the most anticipated Eat Bulaga benefit concert: #AlDubEBTamangPanahon. According to the data released by Twitter Singapore, this official hashtag now holds the world record with over 41 million tweets. It broke the previous Twitter record of Brazil's defeat to Germany during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Why Does Everyone Seem to Love "AlDub"?
Kalyeserye is shoen live . There is no specific storyline but each episode has its own theme. Every gag and parody is unrehearsed and improvised by the actors, themselves. This adds spice to the show .
Conversing in dubbed audio samples of popular songs and lines from blockbuster films and TV series is a very uncommon way of communication, but somehow the viewers got hooked by it and even became very observant with the body language of the AlDub couple.
The lead characters, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are very likeable. No matter how horribleor hilarious Maine's facial expressions are, people still love her .
Alden, with his handsome face plus root-deep dimples, is a very gentlemanly and makes every girl's heart melt. Moreover, the two never forget to thank their fans for their support and this expresses how good-natured and pleasant they are in real life.
"Eat Bulaga" director Poochie Rivera shared a theory with the Inquirer:" AlDub clicked because lots of Filipinos can relate with their predicament. People who have partners who work abroad often communicate and pursue their relationship online, through Skype or Facetome."
Conclusion:
Basically we are all actors and actressess of our own kalyeserye. We can be Yaya Dub, who displays good values similar to the Filipino cultures and beliefs, or like Alden who is prepared and willing to take whatever challenges life wants to throw at us. We can also act like the Lola's, who are on guard, ready to guide and help in all matters in life. No one is left out in kalyeserye. Each character has its own uniqueness. Anyone can choose either to act like them or simply find one's true colors.

AlDub's fame will someday be over just like any other fade. But while it is still there, be happy, be entertained, learn from the values it promotes and hopefully, fingers crossed, apply it to our individual lives.
