Many Christians are believing the gnostic interpretation that Satan, or the Devil Lucifer is the god of this world. When Satan declare the lie on the mount of temptation "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me." It is concluded erroneously that because Satan lied about being the owner of "all these things". Others believe he was telling the truth about what he owns. He does not own the earth.
