Every year, on the occasion of Pallava Falgun, the spring and the World Love Day, the Gadkhali wholesale mokam of Jhikargachha upazila has grown to grow flowers and growers. There was no exception. So, in one day, there was a sale of 10 crore flowers of flowers here in the day. On Monday, the traders from different parts of the country including Dhaka, Chittagong, have taken these flowers.

Gulab, Gorbara, Gladiolus, Rajnegandhha and Ganda Flowers, which were purchased from far-reaching peaks from Ghadkhali Mokam, will be sold on Tuesday and tomorrow in the retail market of the country.

In the mockery of this flower of Jhikargacha, yesterday was the busiest day of the season for flower cultivation and wholesale traders. Because, on the day before the Falgun, it is the largest hut of the year. This year is the highest market of the year. It has always been like this now. Usually in the morning of eight o'clock in the trading of Gadkhali mokam. But till yesterday afternoon till the afternoon farmers and buyers have done full-blown business.

Asked, Bangladesh Flower Society president Abdur Rahim said in the first light, "On the occasion of two days (Pala Falgun and Love Day), 2 million rose, 5 lakh jarbara, 1.5 million gladiolas, 2 lakh resin gandhas and 5 crores embankment flowers from Gadkhali mokam on Monday. The country has been sent to the flower market. The price of these flowers is at least 10 million taka. "He said that 50 percent of the total flowers were made in Dhaka and Chittagong, and the remaining 50 percent of the districts in the country.

These flowers have been sent through the shipment of Gadhkhali Florists and Floral Welfare Association, said Abdur Rahim.

Talking to the traders and flower farmers of this mokam, yesterday, every rose ranges from 6 to 10 taka, jarrabera 5 to 8 rupees, Gladiolus 5 to 10 rupees and every straw of resinagunda is sold from two to three and a half rupees in wholesale.

Phulacasi Manjur Alam of Patuapara village of Jhikragacha upazila said in the first light, 'This year we planted four bighas of flowers. Gladiolus is more about it. In the last seven days, I have sold flowers worth Tk. 50,000.
Farmer Akbar Ali of Gadkhali village said, "Rosa has been sold at good prices in the last seven days on the occasion of Pula Falgun and World Love Day."

Aminur Rahman of Panisara village said, "Today (Monday) 8 thousand jarabera flowers sent to Dhaka. But the price of jerbera is not expected. In the retail market of Dhaka, the jarrobes are selling at Tk 5-6. But the price of the rose is going well. '

After the field in Gadkhali area, flowers were cultivated in the field. Before peeping the sunlight, the farmers here took flowers in the hands. Buying the flowers, the dealer sent them to different places of the country.

Khalek Sarker, joint convener of Gaadkhali flower cultivation and business welfare association, said in the first light, the factories in the last two days were selling 15 crore flowers.

Abdur Rahim, president of Bangladesh Flower Society, said, "At present, there are targets for selling flowers at least Tk 40 crore from Ghadkhali on the occasion of Pallava Falgun, Love Day and International Mother Language Day."

Asked about this, Emdad Hossain, director of the Department of Agricultural Extension of Jessore District, said, "In Jessore district this year 650 hectares of land has been cultivated. Of these, only 6,40 hectares of land has been cultivated in Jhikargachha upazila. Six thousand farmers of the district are involved with flower cultivation.
