Big Week for Fake News: Buzzfeed Blunder and Targeting Children
This end of the week marked another big week for jumping to non-evidenced back conclusions and fake news. It was marvelous watching the same sheep who get duped into fake news stories again and agan take the bait once more.
It never ceases to amaze me how the same people are quick to post on their Fakebook pages whatever the "bombshell" report is of the week only to watch the retraction come out days later. Then they look for the next story that makes no sense and do it again. These people wonder why they can't get ahead in life while doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. There's a word for that....
Another "Impeachable Offense" Debunked by Mueller Himself
This week the Democratic party and the media continued their efforts to take down our beautiful America using misinformation, lies and the stupidity of the heard. Believe it or not it was Buzzfeed who dropped the made-up tale accusing Trump of telling Cohen to lie to congress. Yep, the same outlet that started the Russia hoax with the infamous debunked dossier is at it again. I mean if anyone did anything bad it must have somehow been Trumps fault. Damn it! A bird shit on my car window. Damn you Trump and your Russian pigeons!
Buzzfeed dropped a tall tale of how, then candidate Trump instructed his lawyer, Michael Cohen to lie to congress about Trumps previous plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. What Cohen did was tell congress that the negotiations for the proposed Moscow tower had ceased in January 2016 because they counldn't seal the deal. By all evidence the lie was the date of the cessation of negotiations rather than the fact that the negotiations had ceased. In other words, it was really June 2016 that the project was scrapped rather than January. The evidence is simply the word of a Russian official charged with signing off on the deal.
What Buzzfeed reported was that Trump told Cohen to lie about the timeline so that it didn't look bad on his campaign following the accusations that Russians had hacked the DNC's email servers. Trump scrapped the negotiations because he knew anything involving Russia after these accusations could be seen as suspect. As usual, the only evidence that Buzzfeed cited was the word of "two unnamed federal law enforcement officials".
In normal modern "journalism" fashion, the writers and editors wasnted to push out the story as fast as possible. What a real journalist would do is give the special council a heads up a few days prior to putting out the story. That way, Mueller would have the opportunity to either deny any truth in the sources story or say nothing, giving some credibility to the story from the sources. Well, that's not what they did. The Editor of Buzzfeed sent an email to Mueller a couple hours before running the story.
Why would they do that?, one may ask. The answer is simple and follows the lead of all fake stories you've seen regarding Trump in the past: They did it because they can put out the story, it will spread fast and if it is untrue, then it will have already done the damage they intended, i.e. hurting the President. For the first time since Trump took Office, this plan backfired. Instead, Mueller himself put out a rare statement saying, in a nutshell that the statements from the sources were untrue. This move by Mueller was something that the writers and editors at Buzzfeed didn't expect and it screwed up their whole story.
So in essence, Mueller screwed up their plan in what I see as an unexpected moment of civility on the part of Mueller. The crazy thing is that a move like this gives Mueller a more positive light in my eyes and maybe in the eyes of like minded conservatives like myself. How crazy would it be if the atmosphere shifted to where Republicans had more respect for the special council?
Outrageous Prediction:
Mark my words: Democrats will be calling for Mueller to step down when he issues a report clearing President Trump of any wrongdoing during the 2016 campaign. They may even call for a special council investigation into Mueller as they will certainly accuse him of being a Russian spy.
Here is the basic thought process of pretty much any Democrat:
How could Trump be cleared unless the guy doing the clearing is also in bed with Russians? Oh my God! Anyone could be a Russian! What? You agree with President Trump! You're a Russian! Are we in Russia? I don't even know whats real anymore! With that said, I did like the ideas of the Soviet Union. We should bring that back and try it here.
The Worst of the Worst
Targeting children is something that I see as unforgivable. Never did I consider my stance on targeting children for political reasons because it was, until now inconceivable. Well, I still can't wrap my arms around it but it is beyond incomprehensible and borders on criminal.
A video went viral last last showing what appeared to be a Native American being smiled at by one of a group of catholic schoolboys. That's it. That's what on the original video released. The issue was that it was followed by what can only be described as a made up story line about what happened before the recording started and what the smile "meant".
Obviously, since the boy in the video was showing his support for the POTUS by wearing a MAGA hat the fake news media decided that he must have been spewing savage hate towards the Native American man. Why wouldn't he? It's not like people in MAGA hats ever do anything good. It's not like they aren't targeted by extremist left wing groups regularly and assaulted on viral video for everyone to see. Oh wait.... yeah.
Now I remember, every time a story like this comes out it is proved to be, as usual, fake news. Remember when a guy in a MAGA hat assaulted people with a pussy hat? Yeah, me neither. Remember on all the videos where people in MAGA hats were minding their business and were assaulted by leftist extremists? Me too. I remember all of them.
Since the original video came out another more full video came out leaving no room for making up the story line. It showed the boys standing there and multiple people heckling them. That's it.
The usual brain dead celebrities and SJW's came out to call for violence against the children (don't forget that, these are children) before knowing anything about the story. These celebrities called for the children to be raped, killed, their school to be burned down and worse. This is what the left is now. No longer are they reasonable opposition to the right but just violent thugs who wish to do harm to anyone who won't join their flock.
