The Legominists of Akhaldan

The only surviving photograph of the society of Legominists of Akhaldan after their 5th and final sojourn in the depths of the Ran of Kutch. The Nawab of Chlati, only surviving son of Sir Shapi Puin Tarinilia is seated extreme left, front row and RBR is third from right, also front row. This sojourn lasted 32 days amidst extreme deprivation, though it is not at all apparent. 17 members became permanently realised.

The only surviving image of their sojourn on the way to the village of Kharaghoda. There was still more than a week of walking remaining before they entered the great marsh.

RBR appeared to be the only member who documented the whole trip yet only fragments remain due to the fire in Woodstock shortly after his return.
