Keeping the Faith: Maundy Thursday 🙏🏻

Today, Christians are celebrating Maundy Thursday. This is to mark the Last Supper of Jesus Christ before his crucifixion. Catholics remember this event by having a mass in which the priest will follow Jesus' action by washing the feet of the apostles.

We joined a mass at Argao Church or the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Saint Michael the Archangel, a heritage site in Argao, Cebu. The construction of the church started in 1734 and completed in 1788. It is one of the oldest church in Cebu.
