A new parable that Jesus didn't give you regarding the Kingdom of Heaven
Jesus said not to judge one another for your sin... but I tell you, He didn't give you that example as an excuse to abandon good reason when it does not serve you... I'll give you a new example... one, that you've never seen before...
Two coffee cups... nothing really to differentiate the two of them, if one was to use good reason... I mean... we can state the obvious... black on the outside, cream colored on the inside... white on the outside, red on the inside... they are both just coffee cups, yeah? maybe one is bigger, and they both don't look the same... their handles face opposing directions... and the man that owns them, obviously has a child and a stove ;)
Okay, now on to ROUND 2:
Did anything change, other than the logo on the white cup? Maybe your perception of what the two represent... but... I tell you, because I know for a fact... I only drink my coffee from one. They are both made of clay, the only difference between the two vessels is their colors and what I use them for. the labels on them are meaningless... their colors don't represent anything to me, and the only thing i consider when I pick one up, is what time of day it is. I can fill the cups with whatever I choose... one, I use to drink coffee out of... but at this particular time of day is empty... the other, I like to fill with pure spirits... can you tell which is which yet? What if I said "Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food." and told you the COLORADO CUP IS FILLED WITH THE LORD, BECAUSE OF GENESIS 1:29... does that change your perception?
ROUND 3: THE FINAL REVEAL
There's actually just a coffee stain in the Colorado cup. I drink my coffee out of it... and it's "filled with the Lord" because of the deer that the Lord has given us for food :) However, I didn't lie when I said one of the cups is filled with spirits... Some would refer to them as "evil" spirits... but it really depends on what you use them for... It's Everclear... PGA... there's a shot of PGA... I use it for lots of things... a night cap, a solvent, a disinfectent. It's pure because I didn't dilute it... I never lied about anything, I never changed anything other than which way one of the cups was facing... The purpose of this was to show you, that we can't help but to develop opinions based on what we can observe, and what we're told... We need to stop looking at the cups and making opinions about them... You don't know what God has planned, and He only has One Spirit...so do not be deceived.... go love one another, regardless of the cup or your perception of what's inside of it.
