Paul and the true faith: There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. 1 Corinthians 8:6

The apostle Paul had founded the Church of Corinth during his second missionary journey, but after leaving the city to continue evangelizing the pagan world, he was informed of the deep divisions that plagued the christian community, divisions that threatened the early church with a schism.
This is why Paul wrote his first letter to the Corinthian Church with great concern, to warn of the fruits of the flesh and to train believers in the path of righteousness ("Do to others what you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12), the path of Jesus; the true believers should not surrender to the wisdom of the world but seek that wisdom inspired by the Holy Spirit.
And the apostle Paul also addressed other spiritual issues that today would seem ridiculous and meaningless, but that at the time were important for the first Christians who had to live in a pagan environment.
And one of these themes was meat sacrificed in honor of idols, many Christians were invited to pagan festivals and did not know if they should eat these products or not; with wisdom inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul synthesized an important principle: "All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify" 1 Corinthians 10:23.
Paul continued with his teaching explaining that the important thing was not whether or not to accept this type of food, but rather that those weak in faith did not lose the promise of eternal life.
That is why Paul insisted with these words on the importance of true faith, recognizing Jesus as God made "son of man":
"There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and some people actually worship many gods and many lords. But for us, there is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live" 1 Corinthians 8:5-6.
