The python entered Wanda's body when he was born (along with his twin) here, then the Chthon entered the Scarlet Witch's body, and included the reason why Wanda was so strong.
Later when the Chthon came out of the Scarlet Witch's body, the Scarlet Witch's strength remained.
In Marvel films, the fact that this Scarlet Witch has been shown, but not yet married, now in comics, both are married.
